A developmental edit is focused less on the grammar and more on making your story the best it can be. I will read through your novel with fresh eyes and let you know, chapter by chapter, where your focus is and offer suggestions on how to improve it. My overall report will put everything together in one cohesive document.
I work primarily with science fiction and fantasy genres of any length and my focus will be on making your story shine. We'll be looking at the important questions. Does your story start in the right place? Does your plot work? Do your characters shine? How are they developing? Is your villain the best they can be?
After you have edited your story (within 90 days), I will read through again and let you know if your changes work within your story and that your transitions between the new and old parts of your novel are still working together cohesively.
I am a published author that has been writing and studying story structure for over ten years. I'm ready to put that expertise towards making your novel pop among its contemporaries.
Each gig purchased is for 5,000 words. For example, an 50,000-word novel would need 10 gigs to be completed.
