About:
Suddenly, a small boy ran outside with his body still scorching, leaving a trail of smoke behind him. He called out to Janus for help.
“Janus, please, save me. I do not want to die.”
He was running towards him now. All Janus could do was to pull his winter coat from the back of his car and used it to cover the poor victim, just as the little thing fell to the green field. He tried to cushion the fall with his left hand but was late. He found a bottle of water from the water bottle holder by the door and poured its contents on the small kid who was now motionless.
Slowly, he unfolded the coat only to reveal a face burnt beyond recognition. On checking the pulse and heartbeat, there was nothing there. The little boy had given up the ghost. Janus didn’t realize it until he began shouting and crying aloud. That was when he woke up. He looked around and found that even though the air conditioner was on, he sweated as if he had been pulled from a burning furnace.
